Who attends the ISETL conference? Higher education faculty, administrators and students interested in implementing practical, effective methods of teaching and learning; promoting the application, development and evaluation of such methods; and fostering the scholarship of teaching and learning among practicing higher education educators, attend the ISETL conference. ISETL conference participants are drawn from the arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, nursing, business, education, and other disciplines and share a commitment to improving the quality of their teaching and the quality of their students' learning.

Keynote Address $3,000
The Keynote Address is the conference's official kick-off event at 9 a.m. on Thursday morning. This year's keynote address will be provided by Maryellen Weimer, Professor Emeritus of Teaching and Learning at Pennsylvania State University and author of Learner-Centered Teaching and Enhancing Scholarly Work on Teaching and Learning.

The Friday conference lunch is a sit-down affair with lunch provided to conference participants. The conference lunch is used as both a social event and an opportunity to present conference awards and honor organization volunteers.

The Coffee Stand provides coffee and tea to conference participants all during the conference: Beginning early each morning and continuing until the mid-afternoon.

Friday and Saturday Conference Breakfasts $2,000
The Friday and Saturday breakfasts are available from approximately 7:30-9:30, are a la cart and tend to feature eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, danish and toast, as well as, juice, tea and coffee. These breakfasts are quite busy as conference participants prepare for a day of intellectual stimulation!

The Cyber Café consists of three computers, with Internet connections, available to conference participants throughout the conference. These computers receive constant use during the conference due to higher education instructors tendency to be email-aholics!
