Pedagogical Resources in Times of Change
We are in uncharted times in the daily lives of students, teachers, and support personnel as we seek to balance safety and well-being with continued learning and development. As the result of the spread of the Coronavirus, more and more colleges and universities are moving from face-to-face classes to online/remote classes – the very nature of higher education instruction is changing overnight.
The International Society for Exploring Teaching and Learning (ISETL) has been intimately involved in dynamic and innovative pedagogies for 50 years. As we navigate today’s uncertain educational landscape, ISETL is here for you. Since the move, en masse, from face-to-face to online/remote instruction, the higher education community has provided an outpouring of pedagogical support.
ISETL has collected and organized these emerging instructional resources to better provide support from the vast array of disparate sources. These resources range from online instruction, to issues of accessibility, to effective pedagogies, to copyright and fair use. We have also made available articles from the International Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education that are particularly relevant at this time.
Together we can thrive as we move forward to protect the well-being of our students and create effective instructional environments. ISETL will continue to update these resources throughout the coming weeks. Be well.
