Becoming Change Agents for Equity & Inclusion in Higher Education

The session will begin with an overview of the role faculty play in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. It is imperative that faculty seek ways to promote inclusivity, which fights against accepting prevailing social segregation that marginalizes some while privileging others. Faculty have a responsibility to seek and equip themselves with DEI competencies and create inclusive online and in-person learning spaces.
